Unconfirmed Sightings

In the UK each year there are hundreds of reported sightings of exotic creatures. The vast majority of these are unconfirmed and go down among the others as local hearsay and tall tales. Having experienced something of a similar nature myself near my home on the Welsh borders - the scene of many big-cat reports, and having talked to others who have shared similar experiences I decided to document some of the reported sightings using taxidermy animals. They have a level of truth, but are not authentic, 'living proof'. The photographs are all real, taken on 35mm film, and the situation, at first glance looks genuine. However, whether the creatures in the photographs are authentic is called into question the more the scene is recalled.
